Accounting Technician
Everstead CPA is a community-based accounting practice with locations in Aldergrove and Lillooet BC.
This is a permanent, full-time position, and will be 37.5 hours per week in person. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting technician or a bookkeeper who is looking to make a change into accounting work. Internal training for applicant without specific year end file preparation and tax preparation experience available.

Job Description

Preparing working paper files in Caseware for Financial Information preparation
-
Preparation of adjusting journal entries
-
Preparation of T2 corporate tax returns
-
Preparation of T1 personal tax returns.

Communicating with clients for follow-ups, document requests, and approvals.

GST, T4, T4A and T5018 filings
-
WorkSafeBC filings
Experience
-
Experience within a public practice firm is an asset but not required.

Bookkeeping experience an asset
Skills
-
Proficient at Microsoft excel and word

Knowledge of Caseware is an asset

Attention to detail
